The short version

I am a leadership coach and practitioner with 25+ years in education and organizational learning. I work with leaders who are smart, capable, and leading change that’s harder than anyone told them it would be. I help them think more clearly and find their footing when the ground is shifting.

The longer version

My background spans K-12 leadership, higher education, and corporate learning and development. I have led teams, designed learning systems, and learned firsthand what happens when sound strategy meets messy reality.

I earned my PhD in Education and Human Resource Studies, with a focus on communities of practice and how people actually learn inside organizations. The core insight: people don’t grow through training programs. They grow through doing the work alongside others. It turns out that has almost nothing to do with how most organizations approach change.

That is the work I find most meaningful. Not the polished strategy deck. The real, honest conversation about the work ahead.

How I work

Coaching with me is direct and practical. We’ll focus on what’s urgent for you right now. The real work, the transitions. Where are you stuck? What are the questions in front of you without easy answers? I’ll ask good questions and push back when it matters.
